Pastor Melvin C. Smith is the Servant Leader of Cross Culture 365 Ministries in Georgia. He is an energetic, God-fearing, inspiring man who accepted Jesus Christ at a very early age. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia born on January 03, 1973 at Crawford Long Hospital to the proud parents of Melvin Smith and Margie R. Smith. He is happily married to his beautiful wife and best friend Natasha. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Rachel.
Pastor Mel was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia and started his educational journey in the DeKalb County School System and later resumed his studies at Tuskegee University in Alabama. He is a learned man who attended Georgia Perimeter College where he obtained a 2-year degree in Business Administration and a minor in English. He then continued his studies at Georgia State University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing. He matriculated at Luther Rice University and received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and his Masters of Divinity in Ministry.
Pastor Mel C. Smith has worked in several leadership roles for several major corporations such as PNC Financial Group, Benchmark Hospitality Management Group, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Marriott Hotels, and Chick-fil-A. He is the CEO of Mentoring Exceptional Leaders, LLC organization. He has served on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Urban League and other organizations in his career. Also, he has served in full-time ministry for over 20 years in several ministerial roles such as Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Director of Youth Development, and Elder over numerous ministry auxiliaries. He humbly served as a Staff Pastor at the House of Hope Atlanta Church for five years in many different capacities under the leadership of his Senior Pastor, Dr. E. Dewey Smith before becoming the Senior Pastor of Cross Culture 365 Ministries.
Pastor Mel believes spiritual living, learning, and leisure are essential to the spiritual development and spiritual growth of every follower of Jesus Christ. One of his favorite sayings is, “Without failure, there is no success. “He stands as a pillar of knowledge and faithfulness to his family, friends, colleagues, and many others as a TRUE SERVANT LEADER. His genuine spirit, warm personality and love for God's people is an outward manifestation of God's word in action.
